Greetings fellow growers!

We are Phil & Mike, Founders of Grown Oddities

We are really excited to share with you our experience of growing our own produce on our allotment in Liverpool, UK.

Every week we will share with you what we have been doing on our plot, including what seeds we are sowing, what plants we are planting and any projects or experiments we have on going and importantly we look forward to sharing with you what went well and what maybe could have gone better. So, we hope you join us on our allotment veggie ventures and we would really also like to hear about and see what you have been up to as well.

OUR STORY

About Our Plot

Our little allotment is based in Liverpool in the UK. It is approximately 10 meters (32 feet) wide by 25 meters (82 feet) in length. Waiting lists for allotments across the country are very long and we recognise that we were very lucky in getting our plot back in 2019.

It is still a work in progress and that is exciting because that means we will have plenty to share with our growing community of gardeners. Even though at times it can be tough, back breaking work, the benefits and rewards from being able to grow your own are more than worth it.

Join us as we learn and work to become more self-sufficient in growing our own.
